Can I use fax copy of 2nd Finger Print notice for FP?

Hi All,

My lawyer received (09/14/2004) my 2nd Finger printing notice today in Boston. The appointment is for tomorrow (09/15/2004) 9:00 AM in san Francisco. I live in san Francisco and I don't think I can get the original FP notice by any means by tomorrow 8:00Am. My lawyer suggested me to go with the Fax copy for the appointment. If they do it it is fine, otherwise they'll re-schedule it for me.

My worry is - If they will accept the fax copy and take my finger prints? Any body has been in similiar situation?

Ask him to send by FEDEX over night. You will receive some time early morning(Before 10AM). You can go any time tomorrow, don't worry about the time specified. Usually they allow you till 3PM. Even next day is fine. I know couple of them went next day and they got FP done. I don't know about your center. There is a bar code on notice, which they read through scanner. I don't know whether they can scan the same of a faxed copy.
Don't worry, better to have the original[Even though it is little late], and get the FP done.

Ask your attorney to send the FP notices right now by over night express(FEDEX).

Completed 2nd FP with Fax copy of notice

Thank you all for the response. 2nd FP completed with Fax copy of the notice with out any hassle. They asked me where is the original notification copy, I told them it i sin the mail from my lawyer. They were fine with that.
