My Fiance and I have decided to get married in the US in 2 weeks. We are just doing a simple fast wedding. Just getting papers signed no BIG FAMILY THING just me and him.
Anyway we have decided to get things done by submitting the I-130 and the 2 biographic forms. I will be comming back to Canada to live. I am only going to the US for the weekend. I understand that this process takes about a year where as the K-3 take 6-8 months but a year is about the time that I will be ready and settled to make my move to the US.
Here are a few questions.
Since everything will be done here in Canada. Interview, fingerprinting, medical exam etc....
Will I still be able to travel to the US to see my husband while my papers are still in processing? I know that he can come here to visit but we are so use to visiting each other every month by alternating the months. If I can not travel. Is there some sort of form that I can submit so that travelling back and forth from the US and Canada will be possible?
If someone could help me out with this one last problem I will really appreciate it.
