Hi,
- I am on a valid I-797 & a valid I-94 with the expiration date in September-2006.
- I do NOT have my H1 visa stamped in my passport & my previous H4 has expired since Sep-2004.
- I am an Indian citizen with an Indian Passport.
Q1: Given these conditions, is it possible for me to travel on a cruise to Alaska which makes a stop at one Canadian port for a few hours?
Q2. Is it necessary for me to get a Canadian visa even if I don't ned to get off-board for this one destination?
I have read on this and other forums regarding the 'Automatic Visa Revalidation' but am not sure if this applies..
Also, do I have to surrender my current I-94 while I depart because in that case I would not be having my I-94 when I re-enter using Automatic Visa Revalidation.
Thank you all very much for your time.
