Hi,

I have my AOS interview on Oct 25. I need to travel outside the US on Nov 4.

I have an Advance Parole docuemnt and I am also on an valid L1 Visa. However, I am not sure if I can travel on AP or my L1 visa after the interview and before I get my Green Card delivered in mail.

My fear is, that after I go through the interview (and hopefully get an approval in that).. my AP and L1 will become invalid as my status will change to permanent citizen. Due to this, I will be unable to travel without the GC in hand.

Can anyone share any information about this situation?

Thanks.

You can ask for the I-551 stamp on your passport if you are approved, either at the interview or the following day (through an infopass) and that will be enough to travel.

I traveled using my advance parole after my interview. Entered the country with no problems. On my second trip my green card arrived in the mail while I was out of the country. I had hubby mail it to me and I entered using my gc.
