I need to translate copy of my birth certificate, marriage certificate. Should I pay a translator for these or if I make the translation myself that will be valid ? This would be for upcoming I-140/I-485 filling.
I have my degree and transcripts translated by certified translator - OK.
I did the translation myself for the H1B documents and that worked well. If I can do the translation myself I am aware I need to put the note below.
