hi!!
I just received my Biometrics notice.
I am wondering if it is possible for me to take it slighly earlier than the date they want me to?
If any one know?

i did. it depends on the ASC and on on. some ASC's will take you and if you want to really do it, then i would say get there when they just open the center. you could try your luck.

thank you Candy.
Do you think I can made a infopass appointment?
Is there anything extra I can bring to get my biometric done faster?

I don't think Infopass will help. You could try calling. You best bet is just to show up at the ASC and see if they'll do your biometrics before your date. When I went there they seemed pretty lax about it (OK, so I just turned up 3 hours early, not days early, but still).

Cindy, I'm going to have to go through this process so this is why I'm asking. After what procedure has been completed is a person then granted a biometrics notice? Does a biometrics notice imply that USCIS has without a doubt accepted your right to apply for adjustment of status?

Chills, I can answer this one: No. You can still get an RFE, or be denied AOS even if you have had biometrics.

why do you want it early? and how long after the original appointment can you take it? you must show very good reasons. what is wrong with getting one later?

oh...Inquisitor.
The reason why I need it early is becuase I dont' currently live at the address of my perminant address. Me and my husband live quite far away. I already bought a plane ticket to move to his place. So I wont' be around until interview come and I dont' want to waste the ticket I already bought.

Cindy-

We went to the Gardena, CA. ASC
We received or Biometrics Appt notices 1 week prior to the Appt. date, we went in Early the morning after receiving our Bio. appt. notices, and the ASC let us Process Biometrics no problesm we were in & out in less than 30 minutes. As long as you have the Appt. Notice in hand they will let you process. Just be sure to bring Govt. issued ID with same name as it is on the Biometric Appt. ASC notice.

Good Luck!

They have Accepted your application once your checks have been cashed and you receive Receipt notices, just because they accepted your application does not mean anything other than they will take it and process it.
The ASC ( Biometrics) notice does not put you in the Clear, in fact that is the coolecting of info to do a background check , you are not free & clear until After the interview with GC in HAND!
