Can I switch to H1 from EAD

Currently I'm working on EAD ( since last 2 years) and my case doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Is it a good idea to file H1B and change status to H1B. Any complication to my pending AOS?

Anyone in similar situation?

Spouse is working on EAD too. Should spouse also switch to H1 or keep working on EAD?

I don't know if it is a good idea but you can switch and there will be no complications if your case is clean.
