Dear friends,
I have sent all my documents to my attorney whose office is located in Houston on Sept 20. My lawyer promised me to send my package on Wednesday 9:00 am and I got the tracking number from him. But due to Hurricane Rita, the law office was closed and I couldn't contact my lawyer since Thursday. So I called th Fedex to track my package. I was told that due the hurrican warning, my package wasn't picked up by fedex. Since i am from the retrogression country, I eager to catch the Step 30 deadline.
I am thinking to submit the petition by myself this weekend. My question is
1) Can I submit 2 NIW based I-140 to the SAME INS service center (TSC)?
2) If my lawyer could get back to the office and the Fedex could send my package to INS by next Monday, can I retrieve the I-140 petition which submits by myself and transfer I-485 to the petition which send by my lawyer.
