Hi folks,

I have my I-140 approved 4 months back and my 485 is pending since Feb 04 under EB 2 category. I am currently working on H1-B and I have therefore not applied for EAD and AP. I now want the EAD/AP as a backup. Do I need to send my EAD/AP papers before the Oct 1 or can I apply for it after Oct 1?

Also, is there any action I should/can take regarding my I-485 approval as the USCIS website has June 04 as current.

EAD and AP can be applied anytime as long as your 485 is pending.

PD cutoffs apply ONLY to filing a new 485 (& getting one adjudicated) - it does not impact filing for EAD and AP.
