Can I still extend my stay if I never received I-94 at the borader?

Hopelessly

I am a canadian citizen and came down to the states Jan 28th to visit my boyfriend as he was denied entry to Canada previously due to a dui. I took the bus from BC to Arkansas it was a huge trip especially since it was during the ice storm. I intended to come back to canada with him once his TRP had been approved (we had figuired 6 months max, so I just came down on a visitor's pass, not a K1 visa or anything as we weren't planning to marry then) and he was allowed across the boarder, but this is taking much longer than I originally planned, especially due to the fact that we didn't know we needed a lawyer and have been saving up since I got here for one.

The thing that I have found out recently is that I should have received a I-94 card in my passport when I crossed from BC to Washington. I never received this or stamp in my passport or anything...I was asked how long I was staying, the purpose of my visit, etc, but never received any documents in my passport from the officer, they just asked a few questions and scanned my passport and that's it.

It's getting close to what I know is soon to be the limit of my stay here, and my now husband's (he asked me to marry him soon after I arrived by surprise) temporary resident permit is not ready yet for him to come to canada with me. I want to apply for an extension of stay but it says I need a copy of my I-94 card (which I never got). I've looked in various forums and all say to get a new one from my port of entry; but, as you can see, Arkansas is quite far from any Canadian port of entry.

If anyone has any advice, it would really be appreciated because I really don't want to leave my husband here and wait in Canada for 6 months until his TRP goes through.

Canadians don't need or are issued I-94. Don't worry about it...
