I have a good health insurance,do you think I start taking this vaccines now.
How can i approach my doctor to ask for the vaccines??
What are the exact needed vaccinations for the I-485 adjustment??
Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure your HC provider would cover the vaccines but won't hurt to try
You need to do the TD shot, MMR shot (measles mumps rubella) and TB test
Also you need the blood test (for HIV and Syphilis) that will probably be routine blood work and covered form HC provider. I would get proof of everything and take it to the civil surg. when CIS sends RFI/RFE...I'm pretty sure that's it but you can call the civil surg. in your area just to be 100% sure

Thanks Samoel for your reply.
I had the TB test done 2 years ago.Do you think i have to repeat it?

First thing you have to do is find an USCIS approved doctor WHO IS WILLING TO accept vaccinations from another provider. Then, this doctor needs to give you a list or exactly which vaccines to take. If you have done the vaccinations before, you can just get your blood tested and it will show that you are immune. Tetanus might be the only thing you'll have to repeat.

My HMO paid for chest X-ray, blood tests and tetanus, so you should be OK too. Just make sure, again, that the USCIS approved doctor will take this proof from another provider. Don't go the other way around, OK?

No esspresoJoy is wrong. I did my vaccination from high school dept of educations and the doctor didn't have to approve anything. You just need proof of vaccinations..usually the health dept of your local area will cover that.

You dont need to go to a doctor to approve for vaccinations.

Wantmycgnow, did it ever occur to you that it might have been your immigration doctor who accepted this, and that there might be others who don't?

Gebre, there are doctors who perform the immigration medical who insist that you get vaccinated/tested in their offices. THey make money this way, you see. So, just make sure you find one who is OK with taking immunizations with another doctor/provider. I am advising you this also so that you could save time. When you have the proper list of immunizations from the immigration approved doctor, you don't have to spend days going back and forth. The USCIS-approved doctor has to sign off on everything in the end, so make sure he/she is OK with you going elsewhere.

Well giving immunizations isn't like going to Mcdonalds or KFC that you can pick what you want. MOSTLY government agencies give the MAJOR immunizations...Its not like getting a FLU SHOT. Immunizations are very sensitive and mostly GOVT agencies handle them...Has anyone gotten MAJOR immunization from a mom/pop doctor's office?

Its not like doctors have immunizations lying in their fridge...! They are hard to obtainn!!
