Can I show up before the appointment date?

The San Jose office has called me for my Greencard interview on Feb 12th. I have all my documents ready and the fingerprinting was done last month. Can I just go earlier than Feb 12th and get this done and over with?

You can go to INS at any time but I doubt that they will entertain you. INS officers are very particular about time(spacially when they have to work) so why do you think that they have extra slot for you to take interview. When interview is schedule officer has to pull your file and review it in advance that's why they gave you time slot. Rescheduling can be done but pre-pone ? I doubt.
One thing is sure you can not go early without notifying them.

Why would you want to hurry the situation by 5 days? This is the end of the road buddy, take it easy and reherse your answers. That is as important as taking your lawyer with you. After waiting the past year or so, 12 days should be nothing!
