They may have dozens of cases like yours and may have a policy regarding contacting INS. They may stonewall you. For you on the other hand, your case is most important. Be on top of it and do somethings yourself. BTW, did you talk to an IIO regarding what your RFE was about. I remember we had a thread debating whether an IIO would give you that information on the phone or not? Did anything come out of it. Please let us know.

Yes, I talked to an IIO and got no useful information
She confirmed that it is the second RFE indeed and recommended me to
send a fax inquiry if I have any question or haven\'t got the letter yet. So it was not that helpful after all. I will send a fax inquiry
