Can I receive pay twice at same period!

Hi All,

I'm a GC holder and need some advise on getting paid. Until now I was working for my Visa sponsorer. Now say I start my own company or serve under 1099 for my client. At the sametime, can I get paid from my previous employer thru another 1099 for the due amount am suppose to receive?

as a gc holder its purely legal to get any number of salary from different employers in any form (w2/1099)
