I am new this forum. If this has been asked before, please bear with me.
My I-485 status -- RD 1/16/20, ND 1/29/02, FD 4/18/02. And it is an employment-based case. I am anxiously waiting for the approval. At same time, I am planning to quit my job and go to school this fall. My question is – can I leave for school right after I get the approval/ stamp on passport ? ( assuming I am lucky enough to get it before August) Will I get into trouble for doing so? How long do I have to wait to be safe to quit my job?
