can I pull back my H1B application?

hi.....i filed for my H1B this april....now since OPT has been extended...i dont want my H1....can I myself as an employee pull back my H1B application before the draw or even after the draw so that I dont get my H1.....is it possible to do it without informing my employer....if yes then what is the procedure.....

Only the employer can withdraw the application - they are, in fact, the sponsor for your H-1B visa.
