Can I move back in with my mum?

I came to England on a holiday, but events back home meaning my mum couldn't support me meant that I had to stay in England, it's been over a year now and my mum is financially capable for me to live with her again, problem is I've been out of America for over a year now, I only had a green card and wasn't able to fill out a re-entry form, is there anyway that I can move back to America and continue my residency? Thanks, not sure if this makes a difference, but when I left I was 17, since then I've turned 18, not sure if that means anything as i'm not classed as a minor anymore.
 
How long have you left the US? Are you still under 21? Is your mother or father a US citizen? If not, is she still a green card holder? If she is a US citizen, did she become a US citizen before you turned 18?
