Can I leave US without AP?

I applied for AP on May, 18 in NSC. I have not received an approval as yet.
I have two questions:

1. Will traveling without AP influence I-485 processing?

2. How long does it take in NSC to get an AP approval?

If you are in valid H status (or L), you can leave and come back with a valid H or L visa.

Otherwise, if you leave without an approved AP, you cannot be readmitted to the US. USCIS will consider your AOS case abandoned.

AP processing has slowed down a little recently but you should get it in the next 3-4 weeks hopefully.
