Can I leave US without AP and re-enter with AP ?

my AP is not approved and it would take somemore time..
Can I leave now and get the AP mailed by someone after its approved
and can I use it for reentering US ?
Anybody faced any problem ?

NO!!! It will be a BIG MISTAKE if you leave the country before approval. As Per INS WEB site you would not be admissible. Make sure that the AP is approved, then you can leave the US and someone can later courier the papers to you. Check the INS web site.

No you should not leave before AP is approved. If you leave before AP is approved you are taking a big risk and may not be able to come back.
