Can I go to U.S. Virgin Islands with only a green card?

Hi everyone!
I have a green card and would like to go on vacation to U.S. Virgin Islands. I have a passport from my home country, but it is expired. Since U.S. Islands is U.S. territory, would green card be enough to travel there?

There are no immigration checks when flying from the US mainland to US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico (assuming you don't stop in another country along the way). It is treated as a domestic flight.

However, while you wait in the airport for the flight back to the mainland, sometimes there are immigration agents roaming around the airport checking people's documents. Your green card will definitely be sufficient for that. Even a US driver's license might be good enough.

Thanks a lot!
