Hi everyone,
I have applied for a J1 exchange visitor on June 28th in Paris in order to work in New York to pay my holidays. Unfortunately my case went under administrative processing and i didn't get any news since.
The problem is that i didn't know it could be so long so I have bought my plane ticket which is non refundable (i know I shouldn't have) and the departure is on Wednesday.
So my question is, can I go to the US with the ticket i have bought and the Visa Waiver Program ESTA (because i'm french) while my J1 visa is under administrative process?
