Can I go to passport stamp in Chicago without infopass appointment?

All,
My 485 was approved in August and I wanted to get my passport stamped now. I am in Chicago. Just want to know if I can go to Chicago USCIS office to get my passport stamped without making an appointment through infopass?

Got approved in August and want to get stamped in October......
I suggest go using infopass.

I dont think you can unless you get lucky. When I was there for stamping last week they were telling people to go back and come with INFOPASS appointment. I had to show my Appointment print out at 3 different places inside the USCIS office.

Also dont rely on email for INFOPASS. Just take the print outs as soon as you schedule the appointment.

Another question

We moved recently from Newark NJ to cal. Havent made adress change with INS as husbands case is still pending.
Now as I am in san jose, can i go to san jose ins for stamping? Or do I need to go to Newark?
BTW, GC was approved ny NSC as company HQ is there
