Can I go to Canada?

I landed in Canada two years ago, but I have been living in US since then. I had applied Canadian RRP which expired November 2001. Now, I got an interview appointment from a Canadian university. My questions are:

(1) Can I enter Canada by using my PR, or shall I apply a visitor visa?

(2) If I go there using my Canadian PR, is there any problem to retuen back US? I have H-1B status (but no PP stamp) and AP.

Your advice is highly appreciated.

 NOT GOOD ( I hope you have lost your Canada PR)
 I had applied Canadian RRP which expired November 2001.
 RRP RECORD IS IN IMMIGRATION COMUTERS
 Now, I got an interview appointment from a Canadian university. My questions are:

 First TRY to ENTER by AMTRACK or by walking at N Falls if fail convince yhe Canada immigration officer then apply for Visitor
(2) If I go there using my Canadian PR, is there any problem to retuen back US? I have H-1B status (but no PP stamp) and AP.

YES IT MAY BE A PROBLEM as ACCORDING TO NEW LAW of APRIL 1 ONE NEEDS TO HAVE US VISA STAMPED IN THE PASSPORT, but I dont know if you can be admited as Canada PR ( I do not think you have Valid PR it is expired)
