Can I go for interim EAD without addressing RFE on EAD.

Hi All,

My company's attorney applied for my 2nd EAD and AP back in January 2004. I was almost about to go to local INS to get my interim EAD as my current 1st EAD is going to expire soon. Now the online status for my EAD and AP show RFE, I am not sure what are the additional details required as am unable to get in touch with the HR person who deals with my case.

Now my question is can I go to local INS to get interim EAD even before the RFE on my EAD application is addressed? Is there any possibility of they deny to give interim EAD if I go before RFE is addressed?
Or do I need to wait till the RFE is addressed and take the copy of those documents also for getting the interim EAD?

I think as long as the RFE is not for initial evidence, you should qualify for interim benefits:

But I guess it wouldn't be very surprising if the officer simply says there's an RFE and denies the iEAD. I guess you can try your luck!
