Can I go for early FP at Newark, NJ ?

My application is pending at Nebraska Service Center for almost 2 and half year now. It is a very old case. RD/ND March 2001
Two RFEs in last 2 years.
First FP 04/20/2002
Second scheduled for 09/30/2003
Can I go for early second FP ? Does anyone did it in Newark, NJ ?
If yes, how can I reschedule it ?

U go do early FP @ Newark
Many People have done early FP there.
No need to reschedule..Just walk in..don't say ur coming for early FP..Just show the notice and they would allow you to do..
[But be ready with a valid reason, just in case they notice and ask you ]

Does this apply for first FP? I filed my 485 last Oct 2002, haven't got any FP notice at all. Can I do "walk-in" FP in local service center?
 
Yes we can go and request the officer or the person. I have got the 2nd FP scheduled for 09/05/2003 in Tampa. I had gone in to the local office early in the morning and requested them with a vaild reason. They did my FP on that day (08/15/2003). By doing that I have saved about 3 weeks of wait period. I have found out with FBI if they received my FP which they did and were sent back to VSC. As long as you go early in the morning I dont think they should have any problem in doing.
