waiting stupidly for >2 years and seeing 03 approvals.. it is so discouraging

Is it possible to reapply for Consular Processing now ? abandoning 485 ?

or any other alternative legal routes ? ideas ?

I might be wrong, but as far as I know, you can opt for AOS if your 140 was approved for CP, but after opting for AOS I don't think you can go the CP route.

you will need to file I-824. it takes 2 years now to process this form but with the filing receipt you could see if your consulate will do an AC-140. in that case you can have an interview within 6 months.

WELL I COULD NOT THINK OF AN ALTERNATIVE OTHER THAN TO PUT UP WITH THIS AND LOSE OUR SLEEP OVER THE NEXT (?) days, weeks, months or years.

THIS IS AN ELECTION YEAR AND HENCE NOBODY WOULD TAKE THIS AS A SERIOUS ISSUE.

I suggest you take it easy ! Although, it comes hard way.

We need to develop an extra-high level of patience.

Long weekend is here! Go , visit some nice place with friends or family.

Peace!
