Can I go for an interview earlier ?

I am scheduled for an interview on 5/31/2012.

Can I just ignore that and go there earlier as I did for the FPs ? I know I should bring the letter with the date written on it, but does somebody look at it at all ? I would be more than happy to speed up my naturalization process.

Yeah, you wish. Just imagine if everybody wants to cut the line like you and "speed up" their naturalization process. And then imagine the chaos at the local USCIS office.

Anyway, it is not possible (fortunate for everyone in the naturalization queue waiting patiently) and you cannot go early for your interview. Your folder will be with the interviewing officer the day you are scheduled for your interview. The interview schedule is planned well ahead and is more serious than the biometrics appointment.

No. And yes they do check i will be surprised if they even let you in the building the first thing they look at before you enter is your paper work with the date and your id. Just be thankful you have a interview coming up and be patient trying to speed things up will just make matters worse or even denial best thing to do is wait.
