Can I get visa stamped at POE

Hi,
I am currently in India and have applied for immgration while I was in US. Did my medicals in India and have sent the ROLF, thru a friend of mine from US. Now my question is do I have to send the passports for stamping or can I request the consulate to send me the landing packet so that I can get the visa stamped at POE.

Does any one has any experience in this matter? Would appreciate any feedback.

CIC will not send the landing papers to you separetely. you will have to send your passport to buffalo when they request you and get the visa stamped in it before you can land. i was in similar situation as your's and i did send my passport through a friend of mine to US and he mailed it in to buffalo, for me. he then got my passport back with the visa stamped and he brought it along with him after his business trip to US. as per the last page of the passport's instructions - you can give an authorization letter for a friend and he can carry your passport on your behalf. check your passport instructions on the back.
