Can I get the eligible points for Canadian PR

Hi,

I have a BS and I have total work experience of about 6 years(3 in India+3 in USA).I don\'t have any relatives in Canada. I\'m working as a software Engineer in US.I am not married.

Can I get the eligible points for canadian PR according to the new rules proposed ?

nope Sorry u may not be eligible for the 80 points. Check the link below

In general u may get only 71 points. U have to get 80 points to qualify as per new regulations.

The expected date of implementation of the new Act is June 28, 2002.
The proposed points are 70 points with some changes
probable u may have a chance after June 28,2002 depending on the regulations that are passed.
