can i get married to american citizen and get my greeen card

Hi,

I just applied for my green card, was granted political assylum, i was wondering if i can get married to an american citizen, because i know its gonna take a 10 years to get my green card thorugh asylum..

Does anybody know if I can get married to an american citizen and get my green card, I dont want to get in any trouble.
 
Ofcourse you can. Thts the easiest way....NO problem in marrying a citizen..its the easiest and most respectful(in gc getting way)...Now start looking SON.

Oh yes you definately can do that,but do not marry an American citizen for the sake of getting a GC.
You can have as many petitions as you can.

Thanks, I will start looking, do you there is a penalty involved because an attorney told me that i would have to pay US$1000.00
