Can i get H-1B extension if i already have a valid EAD?

I am sending in my i130+i485 package along with the i765 for emergencies. my 3 year h1 is set to expire this year but i want to renew it. can i renew it if i already get the ead from the i765 app?

Yes you can renew your H1B while having an EAD, and vice versa. As long as you merely own the EAD without using it, your H1B is not affected. But you lose the H1B status if you actually use the EAD to work.
