Can I get FP done in another state?

I am working temporarily at a customer place in another state can I get my FP done here in another state? Please do tell me what are cons and pros doing this.

No. as far as I know, you can change the time but not the location.

Some ASCs are very flexible (e.g. San Jose) and some are not (e.g. Oakland). If you are temporarily working at some other place try going early and do your FP if they say they don't allow it there ask them if they are not allowing because you are early or because you are scheduled at different location. Talk to INS official at that location about your situation.

By the way we know so many people on this board who were schedule in SFO or Oakland but did their FPs in San Jose and they don't have to give any explanation in San Jose's case.

I don't know if it brings any complexity into the situation if your current place comes under some other service center.
As far as I know since FP processing is centralized (tracked with A#) there should not be any problem.
