can I get an H1 stamped at bombay ?

Hi ALL,

I saw a pretty confusing statement on the mumbai consualte\'s website. it says that you can apply for an H1 vis here if:
1) you have been a resident of maharahshra, gujrat etc for the past 6 months.
2) if you are in the US and your last visa was from the mumbai consulate.
3) if you are a shipping comnapy etc.

Now in my case , my passport and home address is from Maharahstra, but
my first H1 visa was from chennai, and then revaidated from the
state dept at st. louis...I have been in the US for over 3 yrs now.

so can I get a visa from mumbai ?

You have to fulfill one of those criteria, not all of them.
