Can I get 2 different passports stamped after approval?

I just got my Approval email yesterday, waiting for the paper notice. I am dual citizen and have two (non-US) passports for different countries (Canada/UK).

For my USCIS applications, I put down Canadian for citizenship because that was where I was born. When I go for my GC stamping, is it possible to have both my passports stamped? Or just my Canadian one? Would that just be causing unnecessary confusion, even asking?

The reason I ask is that I travel frequently and tend to use my UK passport in Europe, and my Canadian passport elsewhere.

Also, couple of other questions:

a) any knowledge on how long plastic card is taking from stamping at San Francisco? The tracker thread seems to have broken down and I couldn't find much info there.

b) Is the I-551 stamp WIDELY understood by airlines to be evidence of Permanent Residency status in the US? (I've even had trouble with some airlines not understanding what an AP document is!)

Thanks in advance...

This stamp is useful only when you enter US (or stay in US). Therefore, stamp in any one of your two passport should work like a charm. don't see any benefit of having stamp in both the passports. But, I guess its just a simple stamp, INS should put it in both of them. talk to the officer when you go for stamping. People usually receive plastic cards in 2-3 months or earlier.

goodsaint,
On what basis you predict "2-3 months or earlier" time for plastic card,
stamping lady told me anywhere from 6 to 10 months. This was at San jose
INS. Did you get yours in 2 to 3 months.

Thanks,
JC.
