Can i file I485 without employer attention..

Please some one help me..

My employer doesn't want to apply concurrent I140/I485.
He is applying only I140.

Can i apply I485 after he applies I140, without his notice...?
Do i need any company people signatures for I485 ??

You don't need employer's signature on any of 485 papers.
However, its your decision whether to go for 485 without employer's knowledge.
Is the attorney on your side ?

Cost is prohibitive too

If ur. employer is paying for 485 filing and lawyer fees, go with them. The approx. cost for a 3 member family for 485 is about 5K ( including lawyer fees of 2.5k).
