Can I file I-140 & I-485 WITH LC

Could someone help me with the above , I read some where earlier on this forum that you can file 1-140/I-485 once the Labor is in because I asked my Attorney and he said I have to wait until the LC gets approved then we can filed both those apps , is that correct ? because I believe if I have those Apps in ahead of time it would get through faster instead ofwaiting for approval for LC which is taking a long time in Dallas, TX .

They are working on Apr 2000 cases and I'm in Oct 2002 so as you can see I may have to wait another what 1-1 1/2 yrs maybe .

Your help is greatly apprecaited , please reply someone .

Your attorney is right, once Labor is approved you can file for 140/485 concurrently - your post is a bit confusing, but I guess you are asking if you can file these application even before LC gets approved - That is not possible.

Please post your questions in revelant forums to get better response and to maintain focus of this forum which is to deal with the complaint against DOL.
