Can I file 2nd 485 in EB2 while my EB3 is pending

I have filed a 485 with my Old Employer and it is in EB-3 Category. My PD is July 2003. I am stuck in Name Check for 3.5 Years. I am thinking of filing another 485 from my new employer in EB2 category.Am i allowed to do that. Can I file 485 for the same person in EB2 while my Eb3 application is still pending.
 
You can; however, It might not be cost beneficial for you. Additionally, I believe you may have to withdraw the I-485 application (eb3) that is already in process.

I dont think you can have two I-485's but just one 485. You can have two labors and 140.

Check with your lawyer. I am just an average joe when it comes to this
