Can I do my fingerprint before the appointment date?

Would this speed up or slow down the approval process? What shoud I do / bring (ie. make appointment?) if I am going ahead of schedule? Does anybody has the number (FBI) to call to confirm if the fingerprint is done successfully?

        Can u update your I-485 details like RD,ND,EAD,AP,FP dates.
I am alos in the same boat as u are.I havent recd my FP notice yet.

yes you can

You can do your FP before APpointment data.
You need to bring FP notice recd from INS, SSN, A#

possible

I did my finger printing today 2 weeks before actual appointment date (in a different location also). Just show at at nearest INS location with notice and picture ID. Normaly they are very helpful
