I got 2nd FP notice, appointnment date is 07/13 in SF
my question, Can I go earlier?
I also heard someone done earlier FP end up his case get lost somewhere,
is this true?

Some people did early FP @ SF successfully, some did not. Check out couple of old threads here.

Never heard anything like that. However, one guy complained that he got another FP notice after his early FP was done. Don't know whether it's was "lost" case or the 2nd notice was a mistake by USCIS.
