I was working for a company's online business for 6+ years. Pretty much started it from scratch. When I started they had about $10,000 per year sales. And now they make 1.5 million dollar plus per year.
My job was to web programming which involved coding, database, design etc whatever it takes.
I was employed for 20 hours per week. And I applied for the greencard that way. Few months back INS asked me to submit the company tax information to see if the company is able to pay be as full time. When the company submitted that info I find out they are cheating on taxes, they pay only 35,000 or so as net taxable income from the online.
And my greencard application was denied because of that.
I feel sort of stupid here, for applying for gc before getting 40 hours paid and specially going through this process without getting all the knowledge. My lawyer here did not make me aware of these either.
Now question is can I do anything against the company?
