Can I change the petitioner ?

My friend's father is US citizen, He has made a file petition for his son under F1 (married children of US citizen), Since his father health is not good, we wish not, but if any thing happens, Can his father add on his mom's name on the same petition ? Or transfer ? since his mom is also US citizen.

Hi

You cannot add on your frends mom's name since she is a US citizen herself. See if your frend will qualify for a work visa (H1B) this is the most quickest way to get to the US. Mom is also eligible to file for immigrat petition for married son.
