I have a pending I-130, I-485 & I-765 (am married to a USC). We are having issues receiving our mail at our apartment complex mailbox. Already on 2 different occasions, USCIS mail has been returned as undeliverable. We are still staying at the same address and haven't moved.
I was able to receive my NOAs 2 weeks after we filed. But since then, the other two mails from USCIS (Biometrics & the 2nd unknown) were returned as undelivered by the USPS.
- I have gone to the local USCIS office and they confirmed my address on file as the one I am currently living at.
- I went to the Post Office and the Supervisor informed me that the only way they would return the mail is if my name wasn't in the mailbox. (My name is in the mailbox and I was able to receive the notices of receipt, just nothing after that).
We decided to get a Post Office box so that we can get all of the USCIS mail. When we called to make the changes, the IO informed us that we can only change address if we have physically moved from one address to another. He suggested to go to the Local USCIS office and ask them to make the changes.
This is our dilemma. Any suggestions or anyone with similar experience?
