Can I change my job?

Needed some advice from all the knowledgable people out there!!

My EAD, AP & I 140 have been approved. Pending I 485 approval.
Applied in September 2003.

I am thinking of changing my job in the same field but with additional responsibilities as well as use of different methodologies and softwares. But the title of the job will remain the same and there will be a change in the pay. Will this affect 485 processing? Please advise.

This is exactly why AC21 was introduced. Yes, you can change jobs as you meet both "I-140 approved and 180 days since 485 filing" and "the same or similar job", conditions. Changing software tools or minor change in responsibilities will not be any issue.

This wil not affect your GC process. If you want you can send a letter to USCIS saying you are changing jobs and want to use AC21. Your lawyer can help you draft the letter.
