Hi all,
I would like to know if I can change my current employer as soon as I file my NIW petition.
And is there a better chance of getting GC (NIW filing) at Texas center compared to Nebraska one?
My understanding is you don't have to have an employer for NIW filing. However people attach employment letter in the application package and fill in employment particulars in I-140. In the grand scheme of things, it shouldn't matter.
As for TSC or NSC, I leave it up to the gurus of this forum. However, there is one senior member called NSC Agony. I haven't seen a TSC Agony yet.
I submitted my I-140 two months before I left my previous institution. Got RFE, but not on the location nor institution. I-140 got approved. Still waiting for I-485.
Hi jk,
where can I find the elaboration of these abbreviated terms. Sorry to say that being a newbie I am not able to understand these abbreviations.
Thanks
RD: Receipt date, date the application(s) is received by USCIS.
ND: Notice date: the date that USCIS prints the receipt that your application was filed (usually within a day or two of RD)
FP: Fingerprint date
AD: Approval date of application or petition
LUD: If you sign up for automatic emails whenever there is a change on your case on USCIS' website, you can observe "latest update" dates (called LUD) which is the last time somebody at USCIS touched your case - even if no change in status occurred.
RFE: Request for Evidence sent by USCIS
NSC: Nebraska service center
TSC: Texas service center
