can i change my address at point of entry

hello all,
i've been stamped 10 years multiple entry visa. now at the time application i used hotel's address for the the plece of accomodation. now i will be cancelling the hotel booking and staying with the friend in usa.
can i do this?
what all questions will i be asked at the point of entry. ? regarding accomodation?
do i have to take a formal confirmation from the friend in the form email ?
kindly let me know whatever is required of me.
what all documents for the financial support should i carry . a single page statement from the chartered accountant regarding the assets will do?

they dont care if that is the same one or not, just as long as you DO have a place to stay.
no confirmation is usually needed.
they hardly ever ask for any documents apart from visa, maybe a return ticket, that is it.
don't worry too much.
