Can I apply while I am in US on H1 .................

Hi,

I am on H1 in US and applied for GC thru my employer.
I would also like to apply for family based immigration thru my brother who is a US citizen. Is it OK to apply for family based immigration while I am in US and also applied for GC thru employer? Am I going to face any problems with USCIS in future?

Nope. Mutiple applications for LPR for the same person are allowed by USCIS. When one is approved, the other can be withdrawn

Yep you can apply for your permanent residency both ways. Just be prepared to wait A LONG time for either of them to go through.
