can I apply GC using EB2 in the same company?

Hi,

I am using old way to process my green card. I-140/EB3 has been approved and wait for quota to file I-485.
PD: 11/23/2003
H1-B expired on May 2008.

Can I ask my company to file green card based on PERM and using EB2(current in EB2 category)?
Or
Can I ask company B to fill PERM and still work in the company A at the same time?
