When to apply for Nat.zn?

Ok so here is my timeline:

So I'd thought of waiting until Jan '14 before applying since that will be 4Y + 1 day since the 190-day trip but then again since the 190 days is so close to the 6 months mark, is it possible that the IO will overlook this?.

I'm seriously thinking of applying this Sept/Oct using the 5Y rule.

Any thoughts is appreciated.

If you apply this year using the regular 5-year rule, you'll have both the 178 day trip AND the 190-day trip within the 5-year window.

With the 178-day trip being so close to the 190-day trip, it's unlikely the interviewer would approve you.
