I'm a PhD student with an approved I-140, but I'm not current to apply for the Form I-485.
Unfortunately, my mother is seriously ill, and I need to leave the US to visit her.
However, since my F1 visa has expired, I won't be able to re-enter the US with it. If I leave the US and reapply for an F1 visa, it's likely to be rejected due to my approved I-140, which indicates my intent to immigrate.
Additionally, I cannot apply for Advanced Parole because I haven't submitted Form I-485.
Is there any solution to this situation?
