Can I apply for a Green Card under EB1

Hi all,

I am on L1A in the US for the last 4 months. I worked as a Senior Executive in my home country for 1 year but have worked with the company for more than 4 years before I moved to US.

My company is a Big 4 consulting company and I am from a country that has EB2 retrogessed.

Can I apply for EB1? How early could I do it?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes.... but your proposed duties in US should be managerial or executive typr

Yes, I am an executive here in the US. Do I need to wait for "x" months before starting the Greencard? My company might want to apply on EB2. Any suggestions on how to convince them for EB1?
